Meet Apollo: A Life of Cuddles, Playtime and Little Mischief šŸ¾šŸ’™

There is something truly special about a Sacred Birman. Maybe it is the striking blue eyes, the beautiful white gloves, or perhaps it is simply their gentle and affectionate nature.

Meet Apollo, a LOOF Seal Point Sacred Birman from FrĆ©jus, France, whose daily life is all about adventures, sweetness, naps — and, as his Instagram bio puts it, a few little mischiefs along the way. ✨

Through his Instagram account, Ā @Le-Monde_d_Apollo, Apollo shares glimpses of his everyday life with his followers. So we asked this beautiful Birman to tell us a little more about himself, his pawrents and the things that make him happiest.

And Apollo was kind enough to answer our questions.

Meet Apollo 🐱

Apollo lives in FrƩjus, France, where he enjoys life with his pawrents, Alex and Dom.

So, how did they meet? According to Apollo, he met Alex and Dom in September 2025, following a visit.

It seems that this meeting was the beginning of a very special bond — one that is built on affection, trust and, apparently, plenty of cuddles.

A Very Cuddly, Playful… and Hungry Cat

If Apollo had to describe his personality, he would keep it wonderfully simple.

He says he is ā€œtrĆØs cĆ¢lin, trĆØs joueur et par dessus tout mangeurā€Ā ā€” very cuddly, very playful and, above all, a big eater. 😸

That last part may actually be one of the most important things to know about Apollo!

But there is more to being a true Sacred Birman than having a charming personality.

When asked what makes him a real Birman, Apollo pointed out two unmistakable features:

ā€œMes gants blancs ainsi que mes yeux bleus font de moi un sacrĆ© de Birmanie.ā€

In English: ā€œMy white gloves and my blue eyes make me a Sacred Birman.ā€Ā šŸ’™šŸ¾

And looking at Apollo, it is hard to disagree.

His beautiful blue eyes and characteristic white paws are certainly part of what makes him so recognisable as a Birman.

When the Thunder Rolls, Apollo Knows Where to Go

Perhaps the most touching answer Apollo gave was when we asked him about a memorable moment that shows the bond between him and his pawrents.

Apollo has one particular fear: thunderstorms.

And when a storm arrives, he knows exactly where he feels safe.

ā€œJ’ai peur de l’orage et je me rĆ©fugie dans les bras de mes pawrents.ā€

ā€œI am afraid of thunderstorms and I take refuge in my pawrents’ arms.ā€

It is a simple answer, but it says a lot.

For Apollo, his pawrents are not just the people who feed him, play with him and take care of him. They are also his safe place when something scares him.

And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful things about the relationship between a cat and their humans: knowing exactly where to go when you need comfort.

The Secret Behind Apollo’s Beautiful Coat

A beautiful long-haired cat needs a little help to keep that gorgeous coat looking its best.

Apollo has his own routine — although, thankfully, he doesn't have to do all the work himself!

His pawrents brush him twice a week.

Simple, consistent and probably very helpful for keeping his beautiful Birman coat looking soft and well cared for.

Eat, Sleep, Play… Repeat! 😸

So what does a typical day in Apollo’s life look like?

His answer couldn't be more cat-like:

ā€œManger, dormir et jouer !ā€

ā€œEat, sleep and play!ā€

Honestly, Apollo may have discovered the perfect daily routine.

There is food, there are naps, and there is plenty of time to play. What more could a cat ask for?

His Instagram bio describes his world as one filled with adventures, sweetness, naps and little mischiefs — which sounds like a pretty accurate description of the life of a happy Sacred Birman.

Apollo’s Advice to Cats and Cat Lovers ā¤ļø

Finally, we asked Apollo what advice or final words he would like to share with other cats and cat lovers.

His answer was short, but perhaps it is the most important message of all:

ā€œAimer son chat et le montrer c’est le plus important.ā€

ā€œLoving your cat and showing it is the most important thing.ā€

And we couldn't agree more.

Cats may not always understand every word we say, but they certainly understand affection, attention, comfort and love.

Apollo's message is a beautiful reminder that loving your cat is not only about feeling it — it is also about showing it.

Life According to Apollo 🐾

Apollo may describe himself as cuddly, playful and, above all, a great eater, but his answers reveal something more.

He is a cat who knows where he feels safe, enjoys the simple pleasures of life and has a strong bond with his pawrents.

His world is one of blue eyes, white gloves, brushing sessions, playtime, naps, food and cuddles — with perhaps a little thunderstorm anxiety and a few mischievous moments thrown in.

And if Apollo could leave us with just one thought, it would be this: Love your cat — and make sure they know it.Ā šŸ’™
