Casper and Cody celebrated their first birthday on August 8th. They’ve already earned playful nicknames to match their personalities. Casper goes by Tuffeltje, Dutch for “potato,” while Cody is often called Freggel when he’s up to mischief.

The brothers spend their days in Twente, The Netherlands, doing classic cat things: birdwatching from every window and tearing through the house in wild sprints.

Before Casper and Cody came along, there were Jack and Kiran; two beloved cats who have since passed. Their photos still hang around the home, a quiet reminder that they are watching over the family.

Now the new brothers fill the house with joy and keep their humans surrounded by happy memories.

How They Met

Casper was the first to approach his human, playful from the start, and the bond was instant. Two weeks later, it became clear that Casper was missing a partner in crime. That’s when Cody joined, completing the pair.

Though they are brothers who wrestle and play together, their personalities shine in different ways. Cody is the mischief-maker, always scheming, while Casper is the cuddler, happiest in quiet affection.
