Zeytin Needs 25 Vials to Live — And Time Is Running Out

In Eskişehir, Turkey, a small street cat is sitting in a clinic cage, waiting.

Her name is Zeytin.

She has been diagnosed with wet FIP.

Without treatment, this disease is almost always fatal. With treatment, she has a chance.

But right now, that chance is slipping away.

Not Her Cat — Still Her Responsibility

Zeytin doesn’t belong to anyone. She’s a street cat.

But when she got sick, one person chose not to walk away. Narsis Omidvar stepped in.

No organization. No funding. No safety net.

Just one person refusing to leave a sick animal behind.

I am completely alone here. I have no support, no family who can help me. I’m doing everything I can, but I don’t know what to do anymore.

The Reality: Treatment Exists — But It’s Expensive

Zeytin weighs 3.7 kg and needs treatment with GS-441524.

Total needed: 25 vials

For many people, that cost is already overwhelming. For Narsis, it’s impossible.

She’s now urgently asking for:

  • leftover GS vials

  • donated medication

  • financial help of any kind

Because right now, there is nothing else.

A Small Sign of Hope

Today, Narsis visited Zeytin at the clinic. She was doing better.

She had gained 150 grams, and the swelling in her belly had decreased significantly. The treatment is already showing signs that it could work.

But the clinic was clear: to continue, Zeytin urgently needs access to the full course of GS-441524.

A Complication You Might Not Expect

Helping isn’t as straightforward as sending money.

PayPal is not available in Turkey. That means:

  • international donations are difficult

  • multiple transfers get eaten by fees and taxes

  • less money actually reaches Zeytin

So there’s a simple but crucial ask: Can someone help collect donations and send them as one transfer?

It’s not just about giving — it’s about making sure the help actually arrives.

Zeytin Is Still Waiting

She’s still in that cage. Still fighting. Still depending on someone to act in time.

What You Can Do

This is where Catswoppr comes in. If you’ve ever:

  • had a cat

  • saved a cat

  • or lost one

You already know what’s at stake.

You can help by:

  • donating (even a small amount matters)

  • sharing this story

  • connecting Narsis with someone who has access to GS-441524

  • helping coordinate a bulk transfer

One Cat. One Chance

Zeytin doesn’t need millions. She needs 25 vials.

And a few people who decide that this one life is worth showing up for.

If you want to help or get involved, reach out to us, and we will bring you into contact with Narsis Omidvar.
