Simba & Nala: Twin Catfluencers, a Rabbit and a Home Where Everyone Belongs

Hi there!
We’re Simba and Nala, twin cats from Venlo, The Netherlands. 🐾We’re also professional nap experts and catfluencers with more than 9,000 followers. Still not sure how that happened, but here we are 😸

We were born on April 2, 2025, and we’ve been doing life TOGETHER (yes, in capital letters!) ever since. Eating together, sleeping together, playing together, occasionally fighting over food… but always having each other’s back. Being twins means one important thing: you’re never alone 💕
What being twins really means 🐾
People love to say we’re inseparable. Yep, that’s true.

We move as a team: if one of us is curious, the other is right there. If one of us gets scared, the other steps in. And when it’s cold… we turn into one shared fluffy heater.
We argue sometimes, of course. Usually about food. But we recover quickly. Very quickly.
Yes, we’re catfluencers — but we’re still just cats 😼
We share our daily life on Instagram, and somehow thousands of people enjoy watching us sleep, play, and do… well, very cat like things. Having more than 9K followers is nice, but that’s not really the point for us.
We do this because we enjoy it. We love connecting with other cats and humans, and every follower feels special to us. No fancy attitude here. Just gratitude ❤️
About Simba’s tail 🐈
Simba here! You may have noticed something different about me…

I’m what hoomans call a kinked tail cat. I was born with it, it simply means the bones in my tail grew crooked. No worries though! It doesn’t hurt at all. I’m not in pain. I’m perfectly fine 😸
Sometimes it affects my balance, because tails help cats balance and mine is shorter. Yes, I fall occasionally. And no, it’s not dramatic at all. I just get up and continue being adorable 🐈
It makes me unique. And what matters the most is that I’m loved. By Nala, by our mom and dad, and by humans who understand that a kinked tail doesn’t mean a broken cat.
What humans often misunderstand about cats with disabilities
When people see cats like me, they often feel sorry.
Please don’t.
Cats with disabilities can live full, happy lives. We play, cuddle, explore and love just as much as any other cat. Sadly, many cats are overlooked for adoption just for being different. Because people look for the “perfect” cat.
Here’s a little secret: perfect doesn’t exist. And different doesn’t mean imperfect or difficult. In fact, those little differences are exactly what make us special ✨
Yes, cats can live with other pets (even rabbits) 🐇
We share our home with another pet: Pippa, our rabbit friend.

At first, we were a bit confused. No pointy ears? No tail? Wow… such a strange cat!
But we got used to him. Actually, Pippa is very fun. He runs after us, lets us hang out in his hutch and at some point, he simply became part of our family.
Living with Pippa proves something important: cats can live with other pets, including rabbits. All it takes is proper introductions, patience and making sure everyone has their own space.
The small things that make us happy 😻
Honestly, we could make a very long list of things that make us happy. But if we had to pick a few, these would be at the top:
Sleeping in bed with mom and dad (best spots in the house).
Getting lots of attention. There’s no such thing as too much.
Being petted. Whenever we feel like it.
Watching cat TV as if it were a very serious job.
Turns out, happiness doesn’t need to be complicated at all 🐾✨
One last message from us, for hoomans and cats 🩵
Make every day a good one. You never know when the last one will be. Be grateful for what you have. Tell the ones you love that you love them.

And if you’re thinking about adopting a cat, don’t overlook cats with small disabilities or differences. Disabled or sick cats can be just as loving, playful, and happy as any other.
Sometimes even more 😉
